Dave’s love for dance music began in the early 90’s and in 2000 he bought a pair of Technic 1210’s which he still owns to this day. Dave practiced for many hours, perfecting the art of mixing vinyl and eventually playing at the local club on Saturday nights. He would avidly follow the top trance DJ’s like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond and as his passion grew so did his collection of vinyl.
As the digital age become more popular, he reluctantly put his 1210’s to one side and bought a pair of CDJ2000’s. He also made the transition from trance to progressive house music.
In early 2020, Dave along with Steve Adams aka Land Mammal started their own radio show Tribu’ Sessions. Steve unfortunately left the show at the end of 2023, but Dave decided to continue with Tribu Sessions which is currently aired on Saturo Sounds.
Dave is continually tracking down the very latest sounds and has recently turned to deep progressive house and techno as he looks for new inspiration.
Since April 2022, Dave also became a resident DJ for Marc Denuit’s XBeat Radio showcasing his take on deep progressive house and techno music from labels such as Balkan Connection, Droid9, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Movement Recordings, Soundteller, Superordinate Music and Massive Harmony Records.
