Gowzer (Steve McGowan) hails out of Glasgow UK. When not performing, he spends his time in the studio creating his own music aided by a passion of over 25 years in electronic music and having early influences such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo to Paul Oakenfold to name but a few. Gowzer has spent many years playing at various Glasgow clubs and the occasional international booking alongside some amazing guest DJ’s. Recently signed to Droid9/Tradeston Records/Electric Eden Records. He has now gained great Support from El Maestro – Hernan Cattaneo
Over the years Gowzer has had a lot of time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about tapping into the mood and using deep hypnotic grooves and atmospheric vocals to get your head and feet moving and gaining support form heavyweights such as Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Ruby, Weird Sounding Dude, Redspace and Gai Barone to name but a few.
