Jay has always been very passionate about house music, this passion started as a teenager during the illegal rave scene around Cambridge in the early to mid-90s. Jay decided to start Dj-ing around 8 years ago and has developed a strong passion for progressive, soulful and expressive deep house. His sound is inspired by producers like Nohan, Double Touch Music, Tim Green, Lee Burridge, Wassu, Nopi, Mass digital, Jones Meadow and GMJ….. Basically, anyone that can produce music to move a listener and touch the soul. Jay really enjoys exploring the relationship between classical music and electronic music.
On Saturosounds Jay has a monthly show called Deep Emotions which airs out at 8pm UK on the 3rd Sunday of each month. www.saturosounds.com
Jay also has a weekly Saturday 10pm slot on house fusion radio and has made guest appearances on Proton Radio (Nordic Voyage), OMH series, Underground Kollektiv and other.
Post lockdown he is now gigging most weekends.
Jay created Club 76 on Facebook during lockdown 2020 as a platform for DJ’s and artist to Livestream. During this time Jay had over 60 DJ’s worldwide performing on his page and raised over £6,000 for charities. Due to Facebook’s tough stance on live-stream he decided post lockdown to take Club76 on the road. Club 76 now puts on events all over East Anglia with the spiritual home being the Drapers in Earls Colne.
